How to play 'Twilight'

Let's begin from the right hand arpeggio to play 'Twilight' in a clean and 'a tempo' way (in right rhythm).

p and a (thumb and ring finger) play the sixth and the first string simultaneously, then the i (index finger) plays the third string, the m (middle finger) the second string and at least the a (fourth finger) plays the first string.

You should play this arpeggio very slowly with the help of a metronome.

Add the left hand when the rhythm sounds perfect.

Maybe you'll notice some little differences between the left hand fingering in the video and scores: you should use the fingering which suits you best.

It's really important for a classical guitarist to learn to change the fingerings. Once you'll chose your favourite ones do not change them anymore to improove the muscular memory.

Did you find some difficoulties playing some measures in particular? Practice on them over and over for a while. Go on playing the entire piece too anyway to improove focusing and physical practice.

Try the glissato looking at the 7th fret and not at the starting one.

Lean softly the left hand when playing the harmonics at the 12th fret.
